Job Description

Manager, Financial Operations 

  • Location: Edmonton, Alberta

  • Status: Full-Time

  • Salary Scale: $85,000.00 to $90,000.00


    Are you looking to join a high performing team of accounting professionals and join one of Edmonton’s top employers? The responsibilities for this Manager, Financial Operations role include managing the accounting and financial reporting activities for a select business line along with doing consolidated financial reporting and preparation of financial statements in accordance to IFRS for the larger group of companies under the corporate umbrella.     The ideal candidate for the Manager, Financial Operations position will possess a professional designation, experience in public practice and +2 years post designation experience with a public company in a financial reporting capacity. You should have a strong technical knowledge of IFRS. Your ability to integrate into a professional corporate culture will be a key element in the selection process. Self–motivated candidates with a demonstrated ability to meet tight reporting timelines; strong ethics and values; excellent research and analytical skills; exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization and proven organizational ability to manage multiple projects will be given preference.
