Qualifications for this Controller/Office Manager role include at least 3+ years accounting experience including an accounting designation, and a confident, energetic leadership style. Strong organizational and communication skills are also a must. The ideal candidate will have a complete and thorough understanding of accounting functions and procedures, including GL, A/P, A/R etc. The candidate will be responsible for preparing all ledger reconciliations, facilitating year-end engagement with our independent CPA firm, analyzing financial information and presenting regular reports to the CEO, as well as management of capital assets. You will oversee the operations of the office administrative and warehouse departments, including controlling, updating and managing inventory systems, ordering and maintaining office orders, supplies and equipment and management of Benefits and HR administration.
In this role, you will be responsible for all financial aspects of the Company. You will report to the CEO and will be a right-hand in much of the decision making process.
Previous experience in small or mid-size business operations would be an asset. Previous experience with Rinax Distribution Management Software will also be preferred.
