We are looking for a strong self-starting and organized Controller/Office Manager to join our family owned and operated business based out of Calgary.   We are a mid-size warehouser and distributor of automotive collision repair supplies with offices across Western Canada.   You will have the opportunity to join a close team of employees in a relaxed and professional environment and to exercise your management skills in the day to day operations of the Company.  You will have direct communication with our customers and will be skilled at managing those relationships.

Job Description

Qualifications for this Controller/Office Manager role include at least 3+ years accounting experience including an accounting designation, and a confident, energetic leadership style.  Strong organizational and communication skills are also a must.  The ideal candidate will have a complete and thorough understanding of accounting functions and procedures, including GL, A/P, A/R etc.   The candidate will be responsible for preparing all ledger reconciliations, facilitating year-end engagement with our independent CPA firm, analyzing financial information and presenting regular reports to the CEO, as well as management of capital assets.  You will oversee the operations of the office administrative and warehouse departments, including controlling, updating and managing inventory systems, ordering and maintaining office orders, supplies and equipment and management of Benefits and HR administration.   

In this role, you will be responsible for all financial aspects of the Company.  You will report to the CEO and will be a right-hand in much of the decision making process.   

Previous experience in small or mid-size business operations would be an asset.   Previous experience with Rinax Distribution Management Software will also be preferred.
