Our partner is an international organisation who aim to improve the lives of disabled people globally.
They work to ensure that the basic rights and needs of their beneficiaries are met and that they are not marginalised from society. They are seeking the support of a pro bono accountant to provide technical assistance with capacity building to the Southern Africa region.
Your role will include developing and strengthening financial systems and processes, identifying weaknesses in current capacity and implementing plans to address these, as well as assisting with audit preparation.
A key objective of the assignment will be to identify challenges or blockages that cause delays to monthly returns and suggesting potential solutions.
The partner will be able to cover the cost of flights, accommodation, visa and the volunteer will be put onto the organisation’s travel and medical insurance policy.
