Job Description

Credit Analyst 

  • Location: Edmonton, Alberta

  • Status: Full-Time

  • Salary Scale: $65,000.00 to $90,000.00

     Do you have 3+ years of progressive Credit & Adjudication experience in a corporate environment?  This is a challenging opportunity with a dynamic, fast paced, growing company to work as a conduit with the sales team and support operations management. To qualify for the opportunity your Credit experience will include: strong knowledge of the sales, receivable, receipts cycle, a proven track record creating win-win solutions collecting problem accounts; excellent planning and execution, negotiation and communication skills; excellent customer service skills – both internally and externally.


     Our client, a company operating in the lending industry is seeking a Credit/Adjudication Analyst.  In this role, your responsibilities will include: reporting to operational and executive management on the status of credit applications; analysis of and reporting on overdue accounts; investigation of new customers, assessment of  credit risks, and final approval of all credit applications; regular review of aged accounts receivable; determination of  allowances for doubtful accounts and bad debt write offs;   Accounts Receivable month-end close, reconciliation of sub-ledgers balance to general ledger control accounts; communication with management on problem issues and facilitation of  dispute resolution; coaching, mentoring  and direction of all collection personnel; ensuring adherence to credit policies and internal business processes; development and implementation of processes to improve efficiency;
