Accounting Technician

Our company has a great opportunity awaiting the right candidate to obtain practical experience as well as the potential for future growth.  The available position is full time and can be filled immediately.  Prior experience in bookkeeping, year preparation and personal taxes is essential.  Preference will be given to CPA students.  Appropriate consideration would be given to candidates who express a desire to build a long term career in public practice.  We are a firm that provides opportunities for learning and growth with increasing levels of responsibility commensurate with your skills and experience. Duties would include but not limited to:

• Bookkeeping
• Preparation of GST returns
• Preparation of T4s
• Preparation of personal tax returns
• Preparation of corporate tax returns
• Assist with preparing financial statements
• Assist clients with the preparation of payroll
• Assisting clients with requests and questions
• Other misc accounting tasks as required
