Accountant

Key responsibilities

• Full-cycle accounting, monthly financial reporting and analysis of results and trends
• Cash management and cash forecasting
• Regulatory reporting
• Bank reconciliations
• Accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processing
• Account and continuity reconciliations
• Tracking of revenue
• Policy and process implementation and internal audit
• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• 5+ years applied accounting experience; with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in full cycle accounting
• Track record of delivering high quality financial statements
• Experience preparing for and supporting annual audits
• Experience with a not-for-profit organization is beneficial
• Project accounting experience helpful
• Professional designation CGA, CMA or CA or working towards a designation preferred
