We are looking for a Supervisor to lead a team of Revenue Administrators to ensure timely and accurate processing, reconciliation and reporting of revenue for numerous revenue streams. The supervisor must possess proven skills in process review, revision, development and implementation to achieve leading practice results.
In this position you would report to the Manager, Revenue Accounting and be accountable for the day to day operations within your team. This includes (but is not limited to) reviewing and approving journal entries, working papers and monthly reconciliations. Ensuring accurate and timely payments are received, resolving any outstanding items including discrepancies and proactively working with warehouses and breweries to implement solutions. In this role you will also exhibit superior interpersonal skills to build and maintain productive, positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill mandate.
The Supervisor oversees the work, development and training of their staff including development of tools and resources. Also includes strategically and actively planning the team’s workload and priorities and managing work flow for maximum success.

• Accounting University Degree with a minimum of one year of related accounting experience is required. Supervisory experience is also required.
• Advanced understanding of financial management including GAAP, IFRS, PSAS, internal control along with auditing principles and techniques is essential to this role.
• Preference will be given to applicants who hold or are pursuing a CPA designation.

ABOUT THE DIVISION & BRANCH
The Corporate Services Division, Finance Branch provides corporate business support services for the AGLC. They record and report all gaming and liquor revenues; pay, record and report all expenditures; provide cash management services, financial analysis, payment and payroll services; and coordinates all financial reporting for the AGLC and the Alberta Lottery Fund to the Board and Government as well as the management of the annual budget process to ensure resources are allocated in alignment with strategic and other corporate priorities.
