Our partner helps economically disadvantaged children to realise their right to an education. They promote quality education and foster the capacity of children and families to be the principal agents of change in their own lives.
They support children and their families through various programmes focussed on primary education, secondary education, nursery education and English speaking. In addition, they also run Family Welfare programmes in Social Work, Psychology Economic Development and Health.
As the third AfID volunteer supporting this organisation your primary role relates to a new grant application, which would be for major renovation works. An AfID volunteer is needed to compile a renovation budget and identify how the proposed additional operating funds would fit in with their current operating budget. The proposal will be in English and one of the architects speaks English, so knowledge of Spanish is not necessary (but would be great).
