Reporting directly to the SVP, Finance in Copenhagen and working closely as a business partner to the CEO of COWI North America, the CFO is a key member of the senior leadership team developing strategy and driving for growth. The CFO oversees processes, policies, procedures and systems of an $100M CAD business necessary to secure efficient, high-performing and consistent support to the organization today and in the future. The individual is responsible for managing and improving the financial reporting and strategic planning processes, while working closely with stakeholders to develop and drive strategic plans, annual budgets, financial forecasts and analyses, and key performance indicators. The ideal candidate is a progressive, driven and well-rounded senior financial change leader who is accustomed to an entrepreneurial, global organization with North American- wide operations, ideally in the consulting, engineering, design, construction, or infrastructure segment. As COWI NA is a US Federal contractor, direct experience achieving compliance with US Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) would be beneficial. A collaborative and collegial work style amongst the Scandinavian head office as well as the other global offices is a hallmark of success for the organization, therefore, you will have effectively partnered within a multifaceted environment with staff and stakeholders in different locations and time zones.
