Your Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Assurance and Advisory, to join our team. This role will focus on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) advisory and audits. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IFRS, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional client service.

 

Your Scope:

  • IFRS Advisory: Provide expert guidance on IFRS implementation, compliance, and reporting. Assist clients in understanding and applying IFRS standards.
  • Audit Management: Lead and manage audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other relevant standards.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships. Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their financial reporting and advisory requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and coach team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Lead by example and promote continuous learning and development.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality of work and adherence to professional standards. Review and approve audit reports and advisory deliverables.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay updated with the latest developments in IFRS and other relevant standards. Provide training and guidance to team members and clients on new standards and regulations.

Your Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree/certificate in business or management
  • Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) 
  • A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in assurance and advisory roles, with a focus on IFRS advisory and audits.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong client service focus
  • Strong technical, organizational, planning, forecasting and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects
  • Ability to work to and meet multiple deadlines in what can often be pressure situations
  • Strong people management focus while coaching and developing others
