Our client, a privately held manufacturing company, is seeking a Controller to join its management team. Now in its 60th year, the company was built on the foundation of high-quality products and services and the goal of creating a team-focused and innovative environment that fosters open communication and long-term sustainability.

Reporting to the CEO, the Controller will be responsible for financial reporting, operational management reporting and analysis, performance measurement, cash management, budgeting and forecasting, and internal controls. Working closely with operations, you will have a strong track record of expereince working in a manufacturing company, understanding job costing, inventory and labour costs, WIP, tracking KPIs and reporting. In addition, the Controller will work closely with the IT and HR departments to ensure the integrity and efficiency of the company’s accounting systems, payroll and employee documentation. You must be hands-on while directing a small team of two people. This is an Onsite position working closely with operations, design, engineering, and the production and installation team.  

The successful candidate will have a track record of success in creating, analyzing and reporting within a manufacturing setting. Proven supervisory skills are necessary, as are effective communication skills. You will also require above-average software skills, including an excellent EXCEL, and expereince with QBO and other ERP tools.
