Treasurer

Looking for a dynamic, knowledgeable Treasurer that will plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the financial operations and policies and oversee the work of the accountant/bookkeeper.  We have been operating for two years as a community based not for profit that provides indigenous based educational programming and services.  We aim to teach and promote Truth and Reconciliation principles for residents, visitors and other organizations in Cochrane and surrounding areas.  Experience working in the not for profit sector would be an asset, as well as if you have lived experienced working with Indigenous communities or identify as Indigneous yourself.  Check our website at wazinti.ca for more information on our organization.
