An Edmonton based building supply company is looking for a controller for its management team.


The controller will supervise a team of 5 to 10 individuals in various areas such as payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory and inventory rebates. Responsibilities include the preparation of monthly financial statements as well as managing other accounting department requirements as they arise including budgeting, internal controls, and accounting system changes.


The controller will report to the company’s CFO.

  • Supervisory and leadership experience
  • Canadian CPA designation
  • Knowledge of budgeting
  • Knowledge of financial statement preparation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
