The tax manager is responsible for tax compliance, planning and audits. Reporting to the VP Finance, you will prepare transfer pricing models and related documentation, prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions under IFRS, liaise with tax auditors and advisors as well as ensure that appropriate internal controls are in place over accounting for income taxes. You are a subject matter expert who will provide coaching and mentoring to the finance team and other members of the organization to ensure that the tax process is as efficient as possible.

WE REQUIRE:

Related education:

  •  Accounting designation, CPA or CA is required.
  • Completion of the CPA in-depth tax course is required.
  •  Business degree from a recognized institution.

Related experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in a public accounting firm.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in tax compliance and planning role.
  • Experience within the oilfield service industry is an asset.
  • Strong computer skills with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office with  advanced skills in Excel, including data management and pivot tables.
