Financial Assistant

Details: Full Time, Days, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Pay Range: Commensurate with education and experience

Typical Duties: The successful candidate will be assisting the Financial Supervisor and Controller, and will be responsible for providing preliminary financial reports and management information that meets the business needs of GEF Seniors Housing. General duties will consist of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable functions, and the ability to prepare reconciliations and working papers. This position communicates regularly with management and finance team, works in an automated environment, and uses computer skills extensively in the performance of duties.


 Experience/Education Preferences:

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel are required

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Accounting position

 Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy

  • High degree of customer service
