Staff Accountant, Public Practice

Established northwest Edmonton CA firm with a varied mix of audit and owner-managed clientele is seeking a second or third year post-designated CPA for its owner-managed enterprises and assurance practices.  The position requires an individual with strong analytical and organizational skills, is self-motivated, interacts well with client and staff and has a desire to grow in public practice.  The successful candidate will have direct involvement in assisting clients with their financial management.

The position would include reviewing and completing various audits, review and complex compilation files for partner review, excluding initial accounting and input of source documents.  Some day travel to clients outside of the Edmonton area is required.  You will be involved in the ongoing contact with clients and their accounting staff.
