MANAGER, FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE & ANALYSIS
35 hours per week

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Leads the annual budget process
- Develops quarterly variance reports
- Manages the International Student Program and personnel
- Maintains and elevates information integrity for the District
- Continuous liaison with the accounting and financial reporting teams to ensure alignment and consistency in accounting treatment and assumptions used in budgets
- Leads the establishment of a roster of potential process improvement opportunities in consultation with all impacted departments
- Regularly prioritizes and implements appropriate process improvement opportunities, while creating a well-structured change management environment
- Makes recommendations on changes/updates to Administrative Procedures, as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in accounting or related field
- Six (6) to nine (9) years’ experience in progressively senior positions, preferably in education or public sector
- Experience and proficiency with complex integrated financial systems
- Chartered Professional Accountant designation
- Proven financial analysis skills
- Evidence of strong stakeholder management
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and strategic-thinking skills
- Prior experience in leading the development of insightful and predictive analytics using underlying revenue and cost drivers, along with supporting rationale
- Experience with facilitating documentation, review and optimization of work process flows
- Advanced project management skills
