Cost Analyst

Our Southside client is looking for a Cost Analyst to join their team. You will be responsible for the all inventory costing and reporting functions for the organizations food & beverage and finance department, thus it is imperative that you have a minimum of 3 to 5+ years of Food & Beverage Inventory Experience.  In addition, the position will build relationships with operational management personnel in a team-based organization for a number of Alberta locations.

Reporting to the Controller, the Cost Analyst is responsible for all areas of inventory costing including: inventory analysis; development and implementation of inventory control processes and procedures; coordination and management of physical inventory counts; maintenance and ensuring the accuracy of product cost standards; and special projects. We are seeking a Specialist, Inventory Control who is team-oriented individual with excellent analytical, project management, communication and interpersonal skills. An individual with POS and inventory/purchasing module software is considered a great fit for this role.  You are comfortable communicating and interacting with a variety of functional backgrounds and levels within a forward looking team-oriented organization committed to value creation.  Regular travel is required in this role.
