Our Southside client is seeking a professional and experienced Bookkeeper within their professional accounting firm. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing individual that is self-motivated and enjoys working with people and maintaining client relationships. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the books for a wide range of clientele; the small to medium sized businesses that are driving Alberta’s economy.

  • Provide full cycle bookkeeping for multiple corporate clients
  • Prepare and file T4 and T5
  • Prepare notice to reader financial statements
  • Prepare and file corporate tax returns
  • Prepare and file GST returns
  • Organize client documents and prepare basic personal income tax returns
  • Deal with CRA inquiries related to both business and personal matters

 

As an ideal candidate you will have a minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience within a public accounting firm, and must have experience with cloud based applications. Knowledge of file prep would be a definite asset. You are an effective and professional communicator and have a focus on client service and partnering with clients to achieve their goals.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work overtime when required.
  • Fluent with Sage and QuickBooks
  • Experience with CaseWare is an asset
