Our Edmonton client is seeking a Manager, Regulation & Risk in order to help them continue to build and develop their enterprise risk management program. This role will be responsible for driving the development of monitoring and reporting tools and methodologies for the assessment and mitigation of enterprise wide risks. You will also develop processes to facilitate reporting on all corporate risks, conduct an annual audit on the organization and risk profile as well as assisting in integrating ERM into the business planning process. Your strength in working independently will be key, but the ability to work with other senior leaders in the organization is critical.
About You:
The qualifications for this Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk role include an accounting designation (CPA or CFA) and/ or Internal Audit designation (CIA) and /or the pursuit of a designation. You will also have 5 or more years of experience in the area of ERM. The ability to drive and create an environment of continuous improvement is critical. You will also possess very strong interpersonal and communication skills. Exceptional technical writing abilities in the areas of corporate policies, procedures and guidelines will also be required. Financial institution experience in treasury management/operations, market risk and/or operational risk experience will solidify your candidacy for the position of Manager, Regulation & Risk.
