Accountant

Our client, a large automotive organization in the Alberta region, is searching for an Accountant. This role requires a proactive, self starter who has strong initiative, well developed communication skills and advanced Excel skills to thrive in this role.  The successful candidate will possess 1 to 2 years of accounting experience. You should have in depth accounting knowledge; strong analytical and reporting skills; high attention to detail and the ability to work under minimal supervision. Do you want a role in an organization that truly values their employees?  Your key areas of responsibilities as Accountant will include reporting and analysis of financial and operational data, production of financial reporting, and analysis of financial and performance data in support of department. You will be tasked with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements and general ledger reconciliations. In addition you will be responsible for various ad hoc high value projects. You will have proven interpersonal and strong accounting and analytical skills; a strong commitment to customer services and the desire to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
