Job Cost Accountant

An outstanding, job cost accounting opportunity has just become available with a reputable and established client in West Edmonton.  Our Construction client is an Alberta Leader and adding a Job Cost Accountant to their team, as the Job Cost Accountant you will play an instrumental role in drafting, monitoring, tracking and maintaining all aspects of Progress Claims and Billing.  Following establishment costing guidelines, policies/procedures, along with the sole responsibility of all Sub-contract claims. The successful job cost accountant will also analyze and report standard cost accounting variances along with invoice collection, vendor inquiries and reconciliations.

The ideal job cost accountant will have a strong interest in standard costing and enjoy working in the construction sector.  As the job cost accountant, you will bring a minimum of two plus years’ experience in standard costing or project costing within the Construction Industry. Experience with SAGE Timberline 300 is considered an asset along with the completion of an Accounting Diploma or Accounting Degree.
