Inventory Analyst

Our South Edmonton client is looking for an Inventory Analysis to join their team. You will be responsible for the supervision of all inventory costing and reporting functions for the company, thus it is imperative that you have a minimum of 3+ years of inventory and supply chain management.  In addition, the position will build relationships with operational management personnel in a team-based organization for both Canadian and US operations.

Reporting to the Controller, the Inventory Analysis is responsible for all areas of inventory costing including: inventory analysis; development and implementation of inventory control processes and procedures; coordination and management of physical inventory counts; billing of materials, maintenance and ensuring the accuracy of product cost standards; and special projects. We are seeking an Inventory Analysis who is team-oriented individual with excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. An junior to intermediate accounting background is considered significant asset for this role.  You are comfortable communicating and interacting with a variety of functional backgrounds and levels within a forward-looking team-oriented organization committed to value creation.  Regular travel is required in this role.
