Operations Controller
Our client is searching for an Operations Controller with progressive accounting experience in an fast paced industrial environment.
The candidate would be responsible for handling administrative & accounting team for the MSS Business Unit, and driving system improvement as well as automation.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
- Compile and review IFRS research as required
- Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts/budgets of treasury cash flow and balance sheets.
- Work closely with the leadership team to prepare budgets, variance analysis and cash flow reports
- Manage the credit approval process
- Assist sales team with risk management and evaluation of customer Terms and Conditions
- Identify business risks and opportunities to ensure quarterly and annual achievement of targets
- Participates in governance calls
Your strengths include:
- 5+ years’ experience accounting experience, preferably within the operations/divisional level consider an asset
- Strong knowledge in revenue and cost accounting, as well as management reporting
- A professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA,CGA or CA)
- A demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks at once
