About the Position 

As we continue to grow, we are looking to bring on board a driven General Accountant to join our team, who will play a key role in assisting the Controller in performing month-end processes, financial reporting and various ad hoc projects.

What You’ll be Responsible For

  • Reviewing sales contracts and creating sales orders for new clients
  • Posting accounts payable invoices and ensuring vendors are paid on time
  • Billing clients on a monthly basis and managing accounts receivable
  • Suggesting and implementing improvements for accounts receivable and accounts payable   processes
  • Maintaining and managing USD cash account
  • Preparing and posting month end journal entries
  • Preparing bank reconciliations and updating weekly cash flow report
  • Processing monthly sales tax remittances
  • Assisting the controller in month end close and preparation of financial statements
  • Reconciling balance sheet accounts and providing explanation of significant changes
  • Processing and reviewing expense reports and reconciling corporate card charges
  • Preparing annual working papers and assisting in external review engagement

What You Bring 

Here are the skills we are looking for in this position: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline
  • Pursuing professional accounting certification (CPA)
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proactive and detail-oriented; someone always looking to improve day to day processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel
