Finance Manager - Public Company

Our client, an innovative publicly traded manufacturing company is seeking a Finance Manager to join their growing team.  The Finance Manager will oversee the entire Finance department and provide hands-on work and expertise in multiple areas.  The Finance Manager will prepare consolidated quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS including drafting new disclosures as required.  Other responsibilities include the preparation of the Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) including the preparation of the relevant analysis to support the disclosures, evaluating new IFRS standards and recommending new accounting policies and implementing new policies and internal controls and procedures.

To qualify for this Finance Manager role you will have a professional accounting designation (CPA, legacy CGA, CMA, CA or MBA) combined with 10+ years’ experience.  Public company reporting experience is necessary to ensure the success of the Finance Manager.  Experience with SAP is also considered an asset.
