Our client, a well-established transportation firm, is seeking an ambitious Tax Accountant to join their rapidly growing organization. Responsibilities will include, among others, Prepare and file monthly tax returns, Audit support, performing account reconciliations, reconciling bank statements, working within the General Ledger, posting monthly accruals and accrual adjustments, preparing monthly financial statements, reviewing the right amount of tax on each invoice and assisting with year-end procedures.
The successful applicant will have 3+ years’ experience, as well as advanced Excel skills. You should be enrolled in, or are pursuing, an accounting designation (CPA). Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as strong analytical skills and the ability to work well within a team.
