Reporting to the City Manager, the Deputy City Manager, Financial and Corporate Services (DCM) creates the conditions for success for the City as a modern municipal corporation. Supporting a team of more than 600 staff in the areas of: Corporate Procurement & Supply Services, Treasury, Investment, Budget Planning & Development, Assessment & Taxation, Real Estate, and Open City & Technology, the DCM acts as the Chief Financial Officer and ensures systems are aligned to deliver Council's vision for the corporation. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, and working with Council, citizens, and stakeholders, the DCM ensures an open systems perspective is adopted as part of shared services optimization.
