Finance Supervisor

St. Albert Public Schools, a publicly funded jurisdiction that serves approximately 9,000 students in 16 schools, is seeking a self-motivated individual to work in a fast paced school business central office work environment.  The candidate will provide monitoring and interpretation of the financial needs, including hands on leadership/supervision in the financial accounting processes and procedures in accordance with the respective collective agreements, contracts, legislation and Board policies.

This full-time, permanent position will be responsible for the punctual and accurate processing of accounting functions, internal audits, the district charity return, GST returns, purchasing card system, school revenue systems and maintenance of financial and historical records in accordance with government and board regulations.
