S.O. Asher Consultants is a professional services firm that develops and manages charitable lottery programs for clients in Canada, Australia and the United States. With over 40 years of experience, we pioneered the charitable home lottery sector and continue to innovate and evolve to deliver transformational results for our clients’ important causes.

We are growing our team and are currently seeking a Controller to join us. The position is based in our corporate head office in Saskatoon.

About the Controller

Reporting to the Vice President Corporate Development, and as a member of the senior management team, you lead our corporate governance, accounting, finance, facilities, information management and insurance portfolios. As an experienced and diversified business professional, you use your expertise to ensure S. O. Asher employs the best operational, financial and reporting systems and controls.

Results oriented by nature, you maximize organizational effectiveness and sustainability, ensuring that your team delivers on both short-term and longer-term goals. Adept at developing effective relationships, you manage our major external vendor and supplier contracts ensuring mutually beneficial relationships.

To prepare you for this role, you have over seven years of senior management experience, a CPA designation and specific experience leading the identified portfolios.
