About Golden Life Construction
Golden Life Construction, also known as Pace Setter Construction, has been building since 1979. During this time, we have developed an acute understanding of the impact of building design on quality of life, and we have seen first-hand the positive implications of good design.
Golden Life has always aimed to provide high quality care and service within innovatively designed communities. This goal has become an ongoing quest because the design and operating experience gained through the development of each Golden Life community provides useful information that can enhance future design and programming.
The most powerful instrument in any health care community is the community itself. A well-designed environment improves the frame of mind of its residents, families, and staff; supports independence; and minimizes the sense of helplessness. Golden Life strives to create environments that promote wellness and ability by facilitating degrees of independence. In short, quality design contributes significantly to quality of life. Our cross-functional architectural, engineering, and construction teams ensure that all program requirements, as well as all potential construction and operating issues, are considered in the design process for each project. Golden Life’s operating and construction divisions share a corporate office and enjoy regularly scheduled planning meetings to ensure each company works to the same development timeline, anticipates needs, and adjusts effectively to each other’s’ schedules. We are successful in integrating building design, operating philosophy, clinical programming, and human resource strategies with fiscal management
Our construction practices follow strict safety guidelines and best practice models, include accurate project development budgets and construction schedules, incorporate a strong understanding of the intricacies of financing project development, and benefit from our excellent relationships with lenders, local suppliers, and trades.
