CFO

Our Edmonton based client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for their corporate head office. This organization has experienced remarkable growth over the past few years and they continue to be on a growth track.  The CFO is a key member of their senior management team.  The responsibilities of this role include: leadership of the accounting and finance functions and overall responsibility of all fiscal and fiduciary elements for the organization, management and coordination of banking and treasury, review and analysis of accurate and timely financial reporting of the company’s activities, contributing to the production of annual operating plans and long term corporate strategies, along with merger & acquisition work.

 

The successful candidate will possess 5 to 10 years of financial leadership experience and have had significant involvement with corporate strategy development, planning and execution. The successful candidate must have a solid knowledge of operational accounting, financial accounting (IFRS) and management reporting.  The ideal candidate for this role will have more than likely started in a mid-sized or large public practice firm and then progressed into industry with experience in the manufacturing industry.
