Full Time Auditor/Senior Accountant

  • Perform/assist with the audit of company financial records.
  • Oversee budget creation and analysis and financial management.
  • Forecast revenue and analyze expenditures.
  • Perform duties related to bookkeeping, preparation of government audits, taxes, and financial planning.
  • Report financial information to management.
  • Advise management on tax ramifications of business decisions
  • Act as a consultant in areas such as compensation, benefits, and asset protection.
  • Participate in strategic planning, fraud prevention, and budget development.

Requirements:

  • 5 + years of Canadian audit experience
  • B. Com or similar degree from an accredited Canadian post-secondary institution
  • No CPA designation required.
  • Caseware/Case view experience
  • Strong computer skills (Excel a must)
  • Experience using Sage 50, Quickbooks, and Sage 300.
  • Knowledge of Canadian payroll is essential
  • Strong analytical, accounting, and financial reporting skills
  • Able to handle a diversity of accounting activities with multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience with government granting processes and financial reporting
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Applicant must be able to travel as required.
