Part-time Accountant with a R&D not-for-profit

Position Summary

API is looking for a part-time accountant to establish and manage the accounting of API's books. Since its formal launch from the University of Alberta in 2018, API has grown considerably and needs a part-time CPA to support its bookkeeper two days a week. The roles and repsonsibilites in the initial year will include developing additional financial processes and proceedures to meet the growing demands of the not-for-profit corporation and providing guidance and support to the bookeeper. The position can be remote or in person at API's downtown offices.
