Chapter Executive Member

The Edmonton Chapter of CPAs is a non-profit, volunteer group of individuals organized to promote professional accounting and support the CPA accounting designation.  The Chapter is self-governed, self-funded and serves to:

• Provide networking opportunities to the membership;
• Strengthen and stimulate participation in Chapter events;
• Enhance the experience and development of the membership;
• Ensure value-for-money to the membership and corporate partners;
• Support the spirit of the vision, mission and values of CPA Alberta; and
• Promote the CPA designation and profession.

We are currently looking for new members to join our Chapter Executive. The first year in the role entails General Membership duties and offers non-executive positions including assisting with social media, sponsorships, communications, event planning and logistics, and more. After the first year, members may apply to various Executive Roles including Treasurer, Secretary, etc.

We offer excellent opportunities to connect with other CPAs, while you are sitting on the CPA Edmonton Chapter Executive in this hands-on role.

If you are an out-of-the-box thinker, bring your ideas! We are continuously looking for new and better ways to service Edmonton and area members of CPA Alberta.
