Senior Business Partner, Financial Reporting & Operations

Parkland County has a Permanent, Full-time position available for a Senior Business Partner, Financial Reporting & Operations. Under the direction of the Manager, Financial Reporting & Operations, the Senior Business Partner, Financial Reporting & Operations is responsible for all aspects of financial operations of Parkland County including grant administration, revenue recognition, and tracking of capital projects, operating projects, and operating programs. This position acts as a support to the departments and is also responsible for all aspects of staff management for their direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education in Commerce/Finance, such as a Bachelor of Commerce Degree or an Accounting Diploma from a recognized institute of technology or college, with a Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a progressively senior level, related position.
  • Experience providing direct supervision of staff is required.
  • Experience in the areas of Public Sector Accounting Standards, the Municipal Government Act, financial reporting and forecasting processes and techniques is required.
  • High level of interpersonal skill and diplomacy to interact with a variety of senior internal and external personnel.

Rate of Pay: $86,109 - $107,636 per annum

Hours of Work: 7 hours/day; 35 hours/week
