VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE
The Vice President, Finance is responsible for all financial aspects including, the development of financial policies and procedures, leadership and oversight of budget formulation and execution, accounting and financial reporting, investment strategies (together with the Investment Committee), forecasting, safeguarding of assets and risk management, annual audit and reporting to the Board of Governors’ Audit Committee, and management/financial controls to ensure fiscal integrity and cost-efficient operations. In addition to the accounting team, this individual will oversee the Information Technology (IT) and Payroll departments. This assignment calls for a combination of specialized financial skills and experience, accounting knowledge, project management experience, as well as an active commitment to the values of the organization and energetic engagement with mission-driven colleagues.

- A professional accounting designation (CA, CPA) and at least 10 years’ managerial/leadership experience in the strategic financial management of a complex organization
- Prior experience in a Not for Profit organization is an asset
