Assistant Deputy Minister/Senior Financial Officer (ADM SFO)

The Alberta Public Service (APS) is taking a One Finance approach for financial services delivery; this includes how finance delivers and supports strategic decision-making in order to support effective and informed policy and program decisions. With tight integration between financial service delivery and the implementation of enabling technologies, it is essential that Treasury Board and Finance and the entire Finance Community review and modernize finance’s service delivery model in order to provide required strategic and operational supports, and be responsive to business partner expectations.

There are currently two (2) Assistant Deputy Minister/Senior Financial Officer permanent positions available. One position is with Ministry of Advanced Education and the other position with the Ministry of Education.

This competition may be used to fill both current and future vacancies across government.
