The JR Shaw School of Business at NAIT is seeking applicants for its Accountant-in-Residence program. This exciting program, made possible by funding from the CPA Education Foundation, allows us to bring several accountants into our school to engage with students, staff, and the public in a variety of activities.
We are seeking CPAs with a variety of backgrounds and experience in different functional areas, who are enthusiastic about accounting education and are willing to engage with students, academic staff, and the public. Candidates will be selected based on:
- Their strengths and abilities to contribute to the vision of the JR Shaw School of Business accounting program.
- Their ability to speak on new trends and issues within the accounting profession.
- Their ability to strengthen community ties and connections.
The time commitment expected is 30 hours over a two-month period (timing is flexible). Accountants-in-Residence will be paid an honorarium at the completion of their term.
