CPA Articling Student or Recent CPA Graduate

VKO LLP Chartered Professional Accountants is a small south Edmonton accounting firm looking for a CPA articling student or recently designated CPA.  We provide services to owner-managed businesses and not-for-profit organizations; and are an approved CPA training office.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare all aspects of compilation, review and audit engagements
• Prepare personal, corporate and trust tax returns

Requirements:

• Enrolled in the CPA program or recently designated CPA
• Highly motivated, able to manage competing priorities
• Ability to interact with clients and colleagues
• Commitment to continued learning
• Working knowledge of CaseWare, Quickbooks and SAGE, or tax preparation software (Taxprep preferred) is an asset
• Understanding of ASPE and ASNPO is an asset

The start date of this position would be as soon as possible.
