City of Edmonton - 4 board positions on the GEF Seniors Housing Board

The City of Edmonton is currently recruiting for four board positions on the GEF Seniors Housing Board. 

Through our recruitment and outreach efforts, we hope to obtain applicants who reflect the diverse residents and communities of Edmonton. Our targeted communications include reaching out to communities with the knowledge and expertise to guide GEF Seniors Housing. We are looking for your help to spread the word amongst qualified individuals in your organization and networks. 

The board provides overall direction and governs GEF Seniors Housing, which offers friendly, affordable, secure housing and services to approximately 4,000 seniors. 

The GEF recruitment period is open until August 14, and we are looking to fill up to four positions. Ideal candidates will meet the following criteria:

  • Knowledge and experience in technology, innovation or research
  • Leader with strong business acumen including social enterprise
  • Experience with affordable housing or social care
  • Strong results-oriented policy governance and strategic thinking experience
  • Leadership in areas of influence with potential funders and business leaders to cultivate and develop networks with stakeholders
