Senior Manager, Revenue and Treasury Management (temporary)

The Senior Manager, Revenue and Treasury Management is responsible for the administration of the gaming, liquor and cannabis revenue segments and the function of corporate treasury.  With top line revenues of over $4 billion, the Senior Manager’s role is vital to AGLC’s management strategy to optimize cash flows to meet the needs of the organization. 

Reporting to the Director, Finance, this role oversees the accurate and timely reporting, invoicing/collections and reconciliation of the gaming, liquor and cannabis revenue streams.  The position ensures best practices are adopted, standard operating procedures are adhered to, and appropriate controls are in place to safeguard financial assets and to maintain the integrity of financial data.

By providing leadership and direction to the operational requirements of the Finance branch, the business units and external stakeholders, the Senior Manager is able to develop strategic and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders which is key to the success of the Revenue and Treasury Management unit.


The position requires a Degree, an accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA, and/or CPA) and a minimum of seven years of progressively responsible and diversified accounting and management experience.

An equivalent of a Diploma, an accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA and/or CPA) and a minimum of 9 years related experience will be considered.

The position requires extensive knowledge and understanding in the following areas:

  • Proficient knowledge of large automated accounting systems.
  • Cash management, forecasting and credit risk mitigation strategies.
  • Banking and payment card industry best practices and PCI standards.
  • Accounting, financial reporting and auditing requirements including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), financial management theories, practices and methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret and direct application of policies, procedures, guidelines, legislation, regulations and directives including the Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Act and Gaming and Liquor Regulations.
  • Experience leading strategic initiatives.

Knowledge of the following will be considered an asset:

  • AGLC financial planning process and reporting requirements.
  • AGLC business plan goals and priorities.
