Lead a strong Corporate and Commercial Credit team. Ensure due diligence is done on day-to-day lending, while maintaining a consistent lending culture throughout FCC.
What you’ll do:
- Provide a consistent vision for Corporate and Commercial credit
- Coach and mentor the Credit team on all aspects of credit risks including technical coaching due diligence, and quality of their reviews.
- Create development plans and create a learning environment to foster personal growth of employees
- Support a vision of Credit Management being a learning centre
- Establish workload priorities and resolve conflicting priorities
- Build strong partnerships with other FCC divisions
- Work collaboratively with other business units, to fulfill corporate priorities
- Adjudicates eligibility with the Senior Director to ensure it’s a fit under FCC’s mandate and assess the reputational risk to FCC

- Strong communicator who can translate and share knowledge to diverse audiences
- Expertise in the analysis of commercial lending opportunities, and the application of advanced credit analysis and risk mitigation strategies
- Proven leader who can provide direction to employees working through a situation to develop sound solutions
What you’ll need:
- Undergraduate degree in business, economics or agricultural economics, supplemented by seven to 10 years of experience in commercial lending (or equivalent combination of education and experience);
- A drive to help others achieve their goals
