Lead a strong Corporate and Commercial Credit team. Ensure due diligence is done on day-to-day lending, while maintaining a consistent lending culture throughout FCC.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide a consistent vision for Corporate and Commercial credit
  • Coach and mentor the Credit team on all aspects of credit risks including technical coaching due diligence, and quality of their  reviews.
  • Create development plans and create a learning environment to foster personal growth of employees
  • Support a vision of Credit Management being a learning centre
  • Establish workload priorities and resolve conflicting priorities
  • Build strong partnerships with other FCC divisions
  • Work collaboratively with other business units, to fulfill corporate priorities
  • Adjudicates eligibility with the Senior Director to ensure it’s a fit under FCC’s mandate and assess the reputational risk to FCC

  • Strong communicator who can translate and share knowledge to diverse audiences
  • Expertise in the analysis of commercial lending opportunities, and the application of advanced credit analysis and risk mitigation strategies
  • Proven leader who can provide direction to employees working through a situation to develop sound solutions

What you’ll need:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, economics or agricultural economics, supplemented by seven to 10 years of experience in commercial lending (or equivalent combination of education and experience);
  • A drive to help others achieve their goals
