Director, Finance and Payroll

Responsibilities:

  • leadership and management of the finance department team for a mid-sized organization in Edmonton and all its related entities which department includes payroll and scheduling services;
  • management of the overall treasury function;
  • preparation for and internal leadership of audits;
  • leadership of internal and external reporting;
  • leadership of the budget and forecasting processes;
  • assistance with the material management and insurance functions of the organization; and
  • provision of financial statements and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Professional Accountant;
  • experience in a unionized environment;
  • numerous years of managerial experience; and
  • payroll related experience.
