As the ideal candidate for Chief Administrative Office, you are an inspiring and empowering leader who is genuinely committed to the mission, vision and values of Schulich Medicine & Dentistry and Western University. You are a skilled communicator and influencer, with a passion for building positive and collaborative relationships with students, staff, faculty, researchers and collaborators, and industry and community partners. With these skills and through these relationships, you make progress happen. You have demonstrated these abilities throughout your progressive experience in senior executive roles, in academia or health care sectors and you complement your experience with an MBA (or Masters in a related field such as Health Administration) as well as professional certifications in your field (preferably a Chartered Professional Accountant designation).

In this role, you will provide strategic leadership and vision to support and advance the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry’s reputation, relationships, and strategic objectives (namely, to deliver outstanding education, advance high-impact research and innovation, and partner with communities to improve health for today and tomorrow). Reporting to and collaborating with the Dean, you will have responsibility for the overall administration of the School’s operations in areas such as finance, human resources, faculty affairs, information technology, research, internationalization, facilities, medical education and dental clinics as well as inclusion and decolonization. Through your executive oversight and strategic guidance, you will ensure Schulich Medicine & Dentistry is positioned for success in supporting tomorrow’s physicians, dentists, health researchers and other scholars in learning to be socially responsible leaders in the advancement of human health. 

This is a permanent, full time position and will be based on main campus in London, Ontario, Canada. The University is proud of its on campus and in-person student and employee experience.
