St. Albert Public Schools, a publicly funded jurisdiction that serves approximately 9,200 students in 16 schools, is seeking a self-motivated individual to work in a fast paced school business central office work environment. 

The successful candidate, for this full-time permanent position, will monitor and interpret financial needs, including providing leadership/supervision while performing hands on financial accounting processing and conforming to procedures in accordance with the respective collective agreements, contracts, legislation and board policies.

This position will be responsible for the oversight of payroll while performing punctual and accurate processing of accounting functions, internal audits, the division charity return, GST returns, purchasing card system, school revenue systems and maintenance of financial and historical records in accordance with government and board regulations.
