Looking for a Rewarding Board Role on a Governance Board

Calgary Learns is looking for a Board member with financial background. Our charitable organization supports the foundational learning needs of adults through program grants, professional development and advocacy on a local level.  We are Calgary’s granting council for the Community Adult Learning Program (CALP) and are funded through the Government of Alberta. Programs funded through us help adults to build their skills in areas such as literacy, digital literacy, English language, numeracy and employment readiness and move forward in their lives.  The professional development opportunities that we offer support facilitators in meeting the complex needs of their adult participants.
